Once you have built your formulation (formula, list, KPI, and so on) in Formulate, you can save it and click Quick Discovery from the overhead ribbon to open your formulation in Discover right away. The Custom Formula is automatically added both to the Discovery canvas and to your measures list.
This option is only enabled once you have saved your formulation.
Create a new discovery with your formulation
When working in Formula, List, Model (text) Parameters, and KPIs, the Quick Discovery option is enabled once you've saved your formula.
Click Quick Discovery to open your logic in Discover right away. The Custom Formula is automatically added both to the Discovery canvas and to your measures list (both of which are highlighted in red, below).
Tip: When you are in Discover, you may sometimes need to click the Fx button (blue arrow) in the Measures panel to show your custom formulas / business logic in the folder tree or list.
